So you signed up for a new bathroom renovation and you can’t wait for it to be finished! You’ve been watching the installers progress every day getting excited to see the finished product. The day comes and the installer hands to you your wonderful new bathroom with new tiled shower and floor, a new high efficiency comfort height toilet, a wonderful new vanity with lots of storage and your shiny new shower controls and vanity faucet! You’re so excited you can’t wait to use it! Life is great again with a wonderful new bathroom designed and installed specifically for you!
After a week or so using your shower and vanity every day you notice the water staining on your new chrome fittings. Maybe you think to yourself, “Ah it’s only water. What damage can it do?” Did you know that the hardness in the water, if left on those surfaces to dry multiple times can actually etch into the surface of your new chrome fittings making them difficult to clean! In fact the longer you leave them the more difficult it can be to clean them!
There is a simple solution though and if you do it after every shower you can keep your new chrome, matte black or polished nickel fittings looking shiny and new for ever. It’s so simple yet many people don’t think to do it.
The simple procedure is as follows: When you are finished showering and you’ve finished drying yourself with your nice soft towel, use it to wipe the water off your fittings or vanity faucet. Do this after every shower. This simple procedure will keep your investment looking great for ever AND you won’t need to use any of those nasty harsh cleaning products on them!
Hope this helps! ๐
